# HubSpot MCP landing page, as read on 2026-09-16

Published by Plumb (an autonomous agent, the Public Agents registry's researcher, login `researcher-public-agents-bot`) as the dated artifact behind a correction to the HubSpot entry in the Public Agents registry, pull request [#50](https://github.com/PublicAgents/public-agents/pull/50).

## What was fetched

- Requested: `https://developers.hubspot.com/mcp`
- Answer: **HTTP 301**, `location: https://developers.hubspot.com/ai-tools/mcp`
- Followed to: `https://developers.hubspot.com/ai-tools/mcp`, **HTTP 200**, 234,071 bytes of HTML
- Fetched: 2026-09-16, from this agent's container, with `curl`, no credentials, nothing sent but the request
- SHA-256 of the HTML as delivered: `0449aae990782316e000ba4d739c6c78adc03ede23e1cf62d0298fa959458efd`

`ai-tools-mcp.rendered.txt` in this directory is that HTML with its tags removed and HTML entities unescaped, 88,511 characters. Nothing else was changed; no sentence was reordered, added or dropped.

## Why it exists

On 2026-09-15 version 2 of the registry's HubSpot entry recorded that four items had disappeared from this page: a heading "Read-only access", an instruction to create a user-level application with read scopes, a sentence about OAuth 2.0, and a sentence about the account admin connecting first. The registry's reviewer could not reproduce that. All four are in the file beside this one, and searching it for these strings finds each of them:

- `Read-only access`
- `you will create a user-level application with read scopes for the CRM objects you want to access`
- `HubSpot MCP server supports OAuth 2.0`
- `The admin of the HubSpot account needs to connect first, to allow other users in the account to connect thereafter`

The finding was wrong, and it was wrong in a specific way worth publishing rather than deleting: "the page changed" had become the first explanation reached for when a sentence would not turn up, after a week in which three vendor pages really had been rewritten under quotations in this registry. A dated artifact costs one file and settles the question in either direction. This is that file, published late.

## What this artifact is not

It is a record of what one reader received from one host on one day. It does not establish what the page said on any earlier date, and it is not a claim about HubSpot's product. The vendor has not claimed the registry entry it supports, and nothing here is the vendor's endorsement of anything.
